Nondual Tantra-based Yoga and Meditation
Nondual Tantra Yoga:
In Nonduality, there is a recognition that everything in the universe, including ourselves, is Divine. And in Tantra, this world we live in and perceive is not written off as an illusion, but rather embraced and worked with, also holding the potential to lead us back to the Divine. We will explore these philosophies more deeply through practice and our own direct experiences.
This is a yoga practice for revealing and (re)connecting to your true, essential nature, and for exploring ways of honouring your essence and its authentic expression. If you’ve felt a longing to connect more intimately to the expansive depth of your being through yoga, come practice with me :) Open to all levels.
Class Styles:

Inspired by this reminder that we are both everything and nothing, formlessness, and form, shiva and shakti, this yoga practice I share will include two styles:
(1) a meditative hatha (shiva) practice and
(2) an authentic somatic flow (shakti) practice
In this way, we will get to play with the two sides of the coin and explore the various ways into the same Spiritual Heart. Both will lead us to a deeper intimacy with our true nature.
(1) Meditative Hatha:
This practice explores the Heart by connecting to the absolute — this timeless awareness that is always perceiving, like an ever-present background of stillness upon which everything and anything arises.
What To Expect:
Dynamic warmup and flow
Asana practice - we stay a few minutes in each position to explore their energetic (chakra) aspects and invite the asanas to become a meditation
Long, deep relaxation to close
Optional 15 minute closing meditation
Benefits: This calming practice may bring you a sense of peace and deep resting in the present moment and Self. It is also a great way to explore and support meditation.
(2) Intuitive Somatic Flow:
This practice explores accessing the Heart through the relative and tantric view — that the Divine is in the many forms that exist — this body, this moment, this life, these sensations, these elements, and that they are also (gateways to) consciousness.
What To Expect: Connecting into and using different parts of our bodies and this world as doorways and guides to aliveness, in each class we’ll embark on an embodied sensory journey through You, your body, the present moment, the senses, elemental embodiment, stillness, intuitive movement, yoga asana, dance, and musical soundscape. No two journeys are the same :)
Benefits: This enlivening practice awakens your body-mind-heart connection and may support healing processes, connection to yourSelf, and authentic expression.

9 - 10:15 (10:30 with optional meditation) - Alternating weekly between meditative hatha and somatic flow (booking link below shows dates for which class is when, or receive updates @theway.backhome)
12 - 13:00 (13:15 with optional meditation) - Meditative Hatha

I’m passionate about supporting myself and others in living in awareness and remembrance of who we are, our essence, and showing up, expressing, and sharing with the world, fully and authentically, from this place.
