Integrative counselor
My Approach
In my counseling practice, I prioritise fostering a judgement free, supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore the full range of your thoughts and emotions. I see the relationship we share as a partnership where we can unearth and explore your unconscious thought patterns and beliefs, and the life experiences that have shaped them. Together, we will curiously examine these unconscious elements with compassion and understanding. This allows us to assess whether these beliefs are serving and supporting you currently or whether they might be holding you back.
I specialise in working with expats addressing life transitions, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I am also passionate about supporting those who identify as neurodivergent as they navigate challenges like burnout, anxiety and pressure to mask. I use various therapeutic techniques, personalised to your needs, to help you develop a curious and compassionate understanding of yourself. This includes a combination of goal oriented changes that we can start to incorporate into your life today as well as a more psychodynamic approach to help get to the deeper root of some of the issues you might be facing.

About me
From a young age, I’ve been deeply curious about people and what makes them who they are. This curiosity naturally led me to pursue a Bachelor's in Psychology, where I learned to understand the psyche through multiple theoretical lenses. However, I felt there was still a disconnect between the theory and how to use it to help individuals. This led me to pursue a Master's in Counseling, where everything clicked into place. Through this degree, I learned how to bridge my theoretical understanding with real-life applications with my clients.
I have lived in Australia, America and now Germany and have a great deal of compassion for individuals who have been brave enough to challenge themselves to live outside of the comfort of their culture of origin. I am interested in the ways in which this change impacts our sense of self as we remove ourselves from our familiar context and our usual support system.
