Humanistic Counseling

Humanistic counseling is an approach that focuses on your individual nature — considering and understanding you as an ultimately good human being. Rather than applying ideas and standards based on characteristics that you share with others, you will be approached as an individual with original circumstances. Together, we will consider and seek to understand you as a whole with an emphasis on your positive traits in order to support a better and more confident future.

Together, we will create an open and safe space free of judgment to explore feelings, objectives, challenges, growth and ways of healing. Themes we can work with include self-esteem, anxiety, conflict, issues of identity, relationships, sexuality and more. We will work throughout the process to develop trust in yourself and make the changes you want to see in your life.

About me

I have always had a keen interest in people as individuals and within our social contexts. My interest in personal development and communication led me to work as an educator for several years. In my path of continuous learning and teaching, my desire to understand human beliefs, patterns and change on a deeper level led to me to my latest training in this field and my work as a counselor.
